I want to use by box as a TV Recorder.
Also, I want an Xbox that plays Blu-Ray movies!
I know they can't do one that plays games, its too late this gen, but how about a limited edition blue slim that hasa blu-ray drive for movies?
4 GB would be nice.
2 GB would be great now, but if they want the console to last a long time and still stay relevant, they should go with 4...
Tell that to Nintendo. They seem to think the cycle is the same as its always been.
They have really caught Sony and M$ on the back foot, they same as M$ did to them and sony when they announced the 360...
Huh?
Surely the HARDCORE would jump all over the 720...
Why would the hardcore run out and buy a 6 year old PS3 when the 720 is released?
The hardcore already own PS3's.
This guy makes no sense!
I always expected a PSThree one day. The current redesign feels more like what the launch PS3 should have been like to begin with.
The Wii U is destined for failure with the hardcore.
When PS4/720 is announced at new years E3 - Wii U becomes a Wii again.
What about the headset Sony are working on?
If they get that running with the PS4 they have won. Nintendo's tablet-pad and M$ Kinect cannot compete with the headset...
Just a question:
Will Blu-Ray be enough for the PS4/720 or do you think Sony will release another disc format?
They already have it:
PS3 + PSV = Wii U
But unlike Nintendo, they don't package both in the box and take full advantage of the relationship between devices.
They can't really. That would have to wait until the PS4 if the Wii U is successfull outside the fanboy market...
1. Mega Nintendo
2. Ultra Nintendo
3. Nintendo Revolution
4. Nintendo 1080
I'd like to see either a HD remake of the Metroid Prime trilogy fot eh Wii U or a new first person Metroid from Retro Studios...
Why not launch these headsets with the PS4?
I'm one of the 29% that don't want 3D games.
Nah, not really - I can't wait for 3D without the glasses!
Its sony - what do you expect?
Want to concentrate on the art and no so much on the tech - develop for M$
Just give me the 720 already!
Sony and Microsoft would be nuts to allow Nintendo to launch the Wii U unchallenged next year. For this reason, I believe both companies will announce their next gen system's at E3 next year with a November 2012 launch.
WHY?!
Lets hope so. Be nice to put all this old tech and motion control crap behind us...
I just want it to be hard core again.
I suspect that the Wii U will fail to hook in the casuals as well.
That new untapped market of moms, old people, babies etc... is disappearing faster than Nintendo's stock prices.
What did they expect?
They got lucky with the Wii. Those people were ready for a game console gimmick that was cheap. They've all moved on now to the next gimmick - which isn't gaming related.
